Abstract

Pyrethroids are highly used in household and agriculture settings due to its high effectiveness and low toxicity. This report describes a 44-year male who presented in a comatosed state with multifocal myoclonic jerks after consuming one litre of insecticide (Bifenthrin 10% E.C-Corostar). The association of pyrethroid poisoning with refractory status epilepticus and the management are reported in this article.
